This specimen was lot 3129 in Steve Album Auction 54 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2026), where it sold for $105. The catalog description[1] noted,
"CANADA: Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, AR 25 dollars, 2015, KM-2038, Star Chart Series - The Great Ascent, hunters tracking bear in color, stars glow in the dark! with COA and original case of issue, Proof. As per the Royal Canadian Mint, "The seven stars of the Big Dipper are without doubt one of the easiest constellations in the night sky to recognize. They are visible year-round in northern latitudes, and have inspired countless stories around the world. According to many Amerindian legends, the Big Dipper is an animal constantly pursued by three hunters. The third program in this four-part series tells how the hunters pursued the bear around the Earth and bravely into the sky." The coin is encapsulated and presented in a burgundy double-shell case adorned with the Royal Canadian Mint logo."
