This dollar was struck 2012-22 with the addition of an anti-counterfeiting hologram to the reverse. It was plucked from circulation by a tourist. The "loonie" was introduced in 1987.
Recorded mintage: 22,140,000 plus specimens.
Specification: 6.27 g, 26.5 mm diameter, brass-plated steel.
