The first example was from a type struck 2006-22. It was plucked from circulation by a tourist. The second specimen was lot 70274 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, February 2020), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 5 Cents, 2015. NGC PROOF-70. KM-unlisted. A 5 oz gilt silver coin honoring the "beaver reverse" 5 cents."

Recorded mintage: 87,360,000 plus specimens. KM 1944: 5,682.

Specification: 3.95 g, 21.2 mm diameter, nickel-plated steel. The second specimen is 31.83 g, 0.999 fine silver with gold plating, 40 mm diameter.
