This specimen was lot 45527 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2024), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. Silver Cent, 2012. Royal Canadian Mint. Elizabeth II. BRILLIANT PROOF. Sold in original display case with COA#396/1500." In 2012, Canada ceased production of the cent and began its withdrawal. To mark the occasion, the mint struck NCLT's in several formats, including this five ounce silver coin. Others included KM 1342, 1343, 1344, 1345, 1520 and the circulating KM 490a.
