Steve Album sale 55, lot 3235

This specimen was lot 3235 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA: Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, AR 15 dollars, 2002, KM-463, Chinese Lunar Calendar Series - Year of the Horse, contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver, with COA and original Royal Canadian Mint plush case of issue, Proof. The design features a 24-Karat gold-plated cameo depicting a horse at center, surrounded by 12 astrological animals marking the Chinese lunar calendar." This was issued for the Year of the Horse. This coin was the fifth in a series of silver bullion coins featuring the Chinese zodiac.

Specification: 33.63 g, 0.925 fine silver, 40 mm diameter, 1 oz silver.
