This specimen was lot 3232 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $120. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA: Elizabeth II, 1952-2022, AR 15 dollars, 2000, Chinese Lunar Calendar Series - Year of the Dragon, contains 1 troy ounce of pure silver, with COA and original Royal Canadian Mint plush case of issue, Proof. The design features a 24-Karat gold-plated cameo depicting a dragon at center, surrounded by 12 astrological animals marking the Chinese lunar calendar." This was issued for the Year of the Dragon. This coin was the third in a series of silver bullion coins featuring the Chinese zodiac.
