This specimen was part of lot 31057 in Heritage sale 3032 (Chicago, April 2014), which sold for $305.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "George VI 6-Coin Mint Set 1949, KM 41-45/47, UNC - Gem UNC. Light spotting is seen on the cent and nickel, but the silver denomination remain rather pleasing." Canadian ten cent pieces for George VI come in two varieties; KM 34 (with "IND IMP") was issued 1937-47 and KM 43 (without "IND IMP") for 1948-52. This date is common.

Recorded mintage: 11,336,172.

Specification: 2.33 g, 0.800 fine silver, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by T. H. Paget and Emanuel Hahn.
