This specimen was lot 23482 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V 50 Cents 1936, MS63 NGC, frosty white mint brilliance, light handling in the exposed fields. Scarce in mint state." This type was struck 1920-21 and 1929-36 and superseded KM 25, struck 1912-19, which was 0.925 fine silver. Despite the low mintage, this is only a better date.
