Canada 1936 10 cents
This specimen was lot 33527 in Heritage sale 3076 (Long Beach, CA, September 2019), which sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "Canada: George V 10 Cents 1936 MS67 PCGS, Ottawa mint. A wonderfully sharp strike with swirling luster and multi-hued iridescent toning along the peripheries, the centers retaining most of their icy white mint freshness. From the James Mossman Collection of Canadian Coinage." This type, struck at Ottawa 1920-36, is common in grades up thru About Uncirculated tho the years 1933-35 are scarce. The 1936 "dot on reverse" variety (not shown here) is a famous rarity, with four known.
