This specimen was lot 2801 in Sincona sale 51 (Zürich, October 2018), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$483 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"George V. 1910-1936. Sovereign 1918 C, Ottawa. NGC MS62. (dominion of Canada, George V, 1910-36, sovereign of 1918, Ottawa mint. Uncirculated.)"
The Ottawa mint struck sovereigns featuring Edward VII 1908-10 and George V 1911-19. The 1911 is the most common date.
Recorded mintage: 106,514.
Specification: 7.99 g, 0.917 fine gold, .235 troy oz AGW.
