This specimen was lot 26230 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $270.25. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V Cent 1918, MS65 Red ICCS, a splendid Gem with light pink-copper color and dazzling luster, scarce with this much original color. From The Nikita Collection." This date is readily available up thru Extremely Fine but somewhat scarce in choice condition.

Specification: 5.67 g, bronze, 25.5 mm diameter, plain edge.
