This specimen was lot 32551 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "George V 10 Cents 1914 MS65 PCGS, Ottawa mint. A fantastic and frosty little gem, exceptionally velveteen even for the assigned grade, and tinged to the subtlest degree to a pale champagne." This type, struck at Ottawa 1911-19, is common in grades up thru About Uncirculated tho some dates are scarce. This date is slightly better but not rare. In 1920, the alloy was reduced to 0.800 fine silver.

Specification: 2.31 g, 0.925 fine silver, .069 troy oz ASW, 18 mm diameter, reeded edge.
