This specimen was lot 23440 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $5,875. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 25 Cents 1892, MS65 ICCS, a wonderful coin with brilliant surfaces and just a hint of toning in the legends. The strike is superb on both sides and the overall eye appeal is exceptional. Rare and most appealing in this elite quality. From The Nikita Collection." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. Despite the ample mintage, this date is rather scarce.
