This specimen was lot 24092 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $1,997.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Victoria 5 Cents 1882-H, MS64 NGC, highly attractive with snow white mint brilliance, very scarce and desirable in this pleasing quality." This type was struck 1858 and 1870-1901 in substantial quantities and most dates are fairly plentiful up to Extremely Fine.
