This specimen was lot 71235 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $336. The catalog description[1] noted, "CANADA. 25 Cents, 1882-H. Heaton Mint. Victoria. PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. Moderately toned with some intermingled multicolored iridescence." The type was struck in 1858 and 1870-1901. Despite the ample mintage, this date is rather scarce in nice condition.

Specification: 5.81 g, 0.925 fine silver, 23.2 mm diameter, reeded edge.
