This specimen was lot 74481 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2023), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Brunswick-Luneburg: Brunswick. 24 Mariengroschen (2/3 Taler), 1714-HH. Zellerfeld Mint; mm: crossed axes between HH. Anton Ulrich. PCGS MS-62. Although slight softness in the strike is noted, this unhandled specimen offers subtle luster on the obverse and more brilliant luster on the reverse. Attractive. From the Robert C. Knepper Collection." Anton Ulrich died in 1714; gulden with his name (shown here) and that of his successor August Wilhelm (KM 731) exist for 1714.
