This specimen was lot 24681 in Heritage sale 3026 (Long Beach, October 2013), where it sold for $940. The catalog description[1] noted, "Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel. August II Taler 1635-66, Dav-6358 var (Insert incorrectly attributes coin to Dav-6357), VF35 PCGS. The varieties on this example are the inner border and legend on the obverse (matching Dav-6360), the addition of a small bow on the shoulder, and the clouds and shoreline on the reverse. Lightly toned and very unusual." The SCWC lumps all the various "reise thaler" into KM 446. It is a fairly scarce type.
