This specimen was lot 20223 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "BRITISH HONDURAS. 50 Cents, 1911. NGC MS-63. A beautifully toned piece, RARE this fine, with glowing luster flashing from speckled breaks in the cabinet patina." This rare type was struck 1911 and 1919 only. The next fifty cents was issued in 1954 and bore the portrait of queen Elizabeth II.
