This specimen was lot 2478 in Goldberg sale 100 (Los Angeles, September 2017), where it sold for $235. The catalog description[1] noted, "German States: Brandenburg. 1/3 Taler, 1672-CV. Friedrich Wilhelm. Laureate head right. Reverse: Crowned arms. Lustrous. PCGS graded AU-58." This type is noted for 1668-75 from Königsberg. Other third thalers exist from other mints for 1672.
