This specimen was part of lot 42883 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2019), which sold for $264. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Bra[n]denburg. Pair of Fractional Talers, 1673 & 1690. NGC MS-63 & PCGS AU-58. 2 pieces in lot. Included is a 1673 1/3 Taler, NGC MS-63, ...From the Collection of Dr. James Eustace Bizzell, II." This type is noted for 1668-75 from Königsberg. Other third thalers (KM 376.1, KM 378, KM 410) exist from other mints for 1673.
