This specimen was lot 268 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €500 (about US$674 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRANDENBURG IN FRANKEN. Karl Wilhelm Friedrich, 1729-1757. 1/6 Taler 1757, Schwabach, auf seinen Tod. Slg. Grüber (Auktion Künker 267) 4558. R Vorzüglich. (margraviate of Brandenburg-Ansbach, Charles William Frederick, 1729-57, one sixth thaler of 1757, Schwabach mint, on his death. Scarce, extremely fine.)"
