Brabant 1618(h) gigot
This specimen was lot 893 in Jean Elsen sale 164 (Brussels, March 2026), where it sold for €60 (about US$84 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRABANT, Duché, Albert et Isabelle (1598-1621), Cu gigot (duit), 1618, Anvers. D/ Écu couronné. R/ Croix de Bourgogne entre la date, sous une couronne. Très rare. Très Beau. (duchy of Brabant, Albert and Isabella, 1598-1621, copper gigot or duit of 1618, Antwerp mint. Obverse: crowned arms, reverse: Burgundian cross divides the date below a crown, Very rare, Very Fine.)"
The SCWC lists this for 1608-09 and 1615-19 as a half liard. It has a low catalog value but is seldom seen in collectible condition.
