Áureo y Calicó sale 345, lot 396
Jean Elsen sale 158, lot 516

The first specimen was lot 396 in Áureo y Calicó sale 345 (Barcelona, March 2020), where it sold for €140 (about US$185 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"1570. Felipe II. Amberes. 1/2 escudo borgoña. Ex Colección Rocaberti, Áureo 19/05/1992, nº 211. Ex Colección Balsach. MBC/MBC+. (duchy of Brabant, Philip II, half écu of Burgundy, Antwerp mint. Very fine or better.)"

This coin was also a half rijksdaalder. This specimen is unusually free of the planchet faults and striking defects normally seen on this type.
