Bolivia 1907-PTS MM 20 centavos

This specimen was lot 40641 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2023), where it sold for $480. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 20 Centavos, 1907-PTS MM. Potosi Mint. NGC MS-65. A SCARCE date." This silver twenty centavos was struck in Potosi 1884-1907. It superseded similar twenty centavos (KM 154.1-.3 and KM 159.1) issued 1870-83. All types are fairly common tho varieties abound. Assayer MM is recorded for 1899-1907. Silver coinage ended in Bolivia in 1909.
