CNG Lissner sale, lot 1265

This specimen was lot 1265 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $145.20. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA, Republic. 1825-present. AR 20 Centavos. Potosí mint. Dated 1893 PTS CB. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 66. Lightly toned gem UNC. Finest of two graded. Purchased from Paul Puckett, June 1972." This type was struck 1884-1900 as part of Bolivia's second decimal coinage. This issue is common.
