Bolivia 1907-PTS MM 50 centavos

Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction, lot 75203

This silver fifty centavos, roughly equal to a half dollar, was struck in Potosi 1900-08. It superseded a very similar coin (KM 161.5) issued 1891-1900. This type is common tho varieties abound. Assayer MM is recorded for 1899-1908 and AB for 1905-06. This specimen was lot 75203 in Stack's Bowers June 2026 World Premier Collectors Choice Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, June 2026), where it sold for $129. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. 50 Centavos, 1907-PTS MM. Potosi Mint. PCGS MS-65."

Specification: 11.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .332 troy oz ASW, 30 mm diameter.
