This specimen was lot 53804 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob 8 Reales, 1737-P E. Potosi Mint. Philip V. NGC VF-35." This type was struck for Philip V through his entire reign. Assayer "E" stamped coins 1733-37 along with assayer "M" for 1737-40. The silver cobs were debased from 0.931 fine to 0.917 fine in 1728.
