This specimen was lot 73484 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2025), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "BOLIVIA. Cob Real, 1682-P V. Potosi Mint. Charles II. PCGS VF-30. From the Richard August Collection." One reales were struck in this style for Charles II 1667-1701. The date was moved to the center after 1652 and most of this type have at least one legible date. Assayer de Villar stamped coins with a "V" 1679-84 and a "VR" 1684-97.
