This specimen was lot 1979 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,741 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Karl VI. 1711-1740. 1/2 Taler 1722, Kuttenberg. Ausbeute. Münzmeister Johann Franz Weyer. Fast vorzüglich. Herrliche Patina. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, half thaler of 1722, Kuttenberg mint, for the mines. About Extremely Fine, Most attractively toned.)"
The oval shape derives from the use of roller dies, which were gradually superseded by the screw press in the eighteenth century. This type was struck 1717-26 and is common. IFW stood for mintmaster Johann Franz Weyer.
