This specimen was lot 4152 in Sincona sale 95 (Zürich, October 2024), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$277 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ Bern, Stadt und Kanton, 10 Kreuzer 1764, Bern. Fast FDC. (Switzerland, canton of Bern, ten kreuzer of 1764, Bern mint. About Uncirculated.)"
This type was struck 1759, 1764-65, 1776-78 and 1787-90 and was accompanied by a twenty kreuzer and a quarter thaler. In Germany, the convention thaler was 120 kreuzer; in Switzerland, the thaler was 160 kreuzer, making this coin 2½ batzen or one-sixteenth thaler.
