This specimen was lot 2659 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $130.90. The catalog description[1] noted, "BENGAL PRESIDENCY: AR ¼ rupee, Murshidabad, AH1204 year 19, East India Company issue in the name of Shah Alam II, struck in Calcutta, oblique edge milling, a lovely toned example! PCGS graded MS63. Incorrect catalog number on PCGS holder." These quarter rupees, half rupees and rupees were struck 1793-1818 at Calcutta and Murshidabad in the name of the Mogul emperor Shah Alam II.
