This coin was struck 1948-50 and 1954. It comes in coin and medal alignment altho no 1954's with medal alignment are reported. The obverse depicts kings Leopold I, Leopold II, Albert and Leopold III, who abdicated in 1951. Belgium joined the euro in 2002 and all the franc coinage is obsolete.

Recorded mintage: 2,517,000.

Specification: 18 g, 0.835 fine silver, 33 mm diameter, reeded edge.
