This specimen was lot 3746 in Goldberg sale 74 (Los Angeles, June 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "Belgium. 20 Francs, 1865. Leopold I. Position A. One year type. NGC graded AU-58." Belgium first issued twenty francs in 1834 but this one year type is the first that can be called common.
Recorded mintage: 1,548,000.
Specification: 6.45 g, 0.900 fine gold, .186 troy oz AGW.
