This specimen was lot 2024 in Sincona sale 23 (Zürich, May 2015), where it sold for 240 CHF (about US$302 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BELGIEN, Königreich, Leopold II. 1865-1909 20 Francs 1867. Vorzüglich. (kingdom of Belgium, Leopold II (1865-1909), twenty francs of 1867, extremely fine.)"
This coin, one of a type struck 1870-82 during the reign of Leopold III of Belgium (1865-1909), corresponds in weight and fineness to the contemporary French twenty francs.
Recorded mintage: 1,341,000.
