This specimen was lot 22526 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Bavaria. 10 Mark, 1893-D. PCGS MS-64 Secure Holder. Satiny luster swirls around the central motifs on both sides." This type of 1890, 1893, 1896-1900 is common. The ten mark is quite a bit more affordable than the twenty mark. King Otto ruled under a regency for his entire reign.
Recorded mintage: 421,512 plus a few proofs.
