This specimen was lot 1692 in Jean Elsen sale 162 (Brussels, June 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,

"ALLEMAGNE, BAVIÈRE, Royaume, Maximilien Ier Joseph (1806-1825), AR Konventionstaler, 1810. Légères traces d'ajustage au revers. (Germany, kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian I Joseph, 1806-25, silver convention thaler of 1810. Light adjustment marks on the reverse, Very Fine - Extremely Fine.)"

This type of 1807-22 was issued concurrently with a kronenthaler (Dav-552) which is much more common.

Recorded mintage: 6,721.

Specification: 28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver, 41 mm diameter.
