This specimen was lot 2210 in Sincona sale 80 (Zürich, October 2022), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY | Bavaria, Maximilian IV. (I.) Joseph, 1799-1825. 3 Kreuzer 1810, München. Extremely fine-uncirculated." This type was struck 1807-25. The mintages are not knkown but must have been substantial as the catalog value is low. In the nineteenth century, one thaler was 120 kreuzer, making this coin 1/40 of a thaler. The denomination was terminated in 1868.
