This specimen was lot 56382 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $780. The catalog description[1] noted, "INDIA. Baroda. Rupee, VS 1954 (1897). Sayaji Rao III (under Victoria as Empress). NGC MS-63." This type was struck VS 1951-1956 and scarce. Sayaji Rao III (r. 1875-1939) was the twelfth maharaja of Baroda.
