This specimen was lot 875 in Stephen Album sale 43 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2022), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "BARODA: Sivaji Rao III, 1875-1938, AR rupee, VS1955 (1898), an attractive mint state example with light tone, PCGS graded MS62, ex Arvind Sanghvi Collection." This type was struck VS 1951-1956 and all dates priced the same. Sayaji Rao III (r. 1875-1939) was the twelfth maharaja of Baroda.
