This specimen was lot 2475 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $312. The catalog description[1] noted, "BARODA Sayaji Rao III, 1875-1938, AR rupee, VS1952 (1895), a pleasing mint state example, PCGS graded MS62, ex Stephen Album Auction 30, Lot 2461, ex Paul Stevens Collection." This type was struck VS 1951-1956 and is uncommon. Sayaji Rao III (r. 1875-1939) was the twelfth maharaja of Baroda.
Recorded mintage: unknown but somewhat scarce.
