This specimen was lot 2338 in Goldberg sale 98 (Los Angeles, June 2017), where it sold for $411. The catalog description[1] noted, "Bahamas. 200 Dollars, 1974. Elizabeth II. Reverse: National arms. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated." This type was struck 1973-77. In 1974, numerous varieties were manufactured to create artificial rarities.

Recorded mintage: 5,528 + 3,587 proofs (all varieties).

Specification: 10.92 g, 0.917 fine gold, .312 troy oz AGW, 28 mm diameter.
