This specimen was lot 2457 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $510. The catalog description[1] noted, "AWADH: Muhammad Ali Shah, 1837-1842, AR rupee, Lucknow, AH1255 year 3, lovely strike on broad flan, choice XF, ex Dr. Axel Wahlstedt Collection." This type was struck years 1-3 and is common. Wikipedia comments, "Nasser-ud-daula Mu'in ad-Din Muhammad Ali Shah (1774-1842), was the ninth Nawab or King of Oudh from 7 July 1837 until his death on 7 May 1842."
