This specimen was lot 2456 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "AWADH: Nasir-ud-Din Haidar, 1827-1837, AR rupee, Lakhnau, AH1253 year 10, XF." This type was struck years 7-10 and is common. Wikipedia comments, "Nasir-ud-Din Haidar Shah (1803-37) was the second King of Oudh from 19 October 1827 to 7 July 1837." He was allegedly poisoned in a court intrigue and left no heirs. The British installed his uncle, Nasir-ud-daula.
