Sincona sale 90, lot 1623

This specimen was lot 1623 in Sincona sale 90 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US$1,745 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Franz II. (I.), 1792-1835. Dukat 1827 B, Kremnitz. Selten. Fast vorzüglich. Feine Goldpatina. (empire of Austria, Francis I, 1792-1835, ducat of 1827, Kremnitz mint. Rare, About extremely fine, Nice gold toning.)"

This type was struck 1825-31 at Vienna ("A"), Kremnitz (shown here) and Karlsburg ("E"). The SCWC prices them all the same.
