This specimen was lot 7093 in Ponterio sale 155 (Baltimore, November 2010), where it sold for $437. The catalog description[1] noted, "AUSTRIA. Taler, 1728. Hall Mint. Lightly toned, nice strike. ALMOST UNCIRCULATED." The SCWC lists this type for 1724-34 and is among the more common thalers of emperor Charles VI. Similar coins were issued from Graz, Vienna (Dav-1037) and Breslau (Dav-1098).
