Künker sale 406, lot 4530

This specimen was lot 4530 in Künker sale 406 (Osnabrück, March 2024), where it sold for €550 (about US$722 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Ferdinand III. 1625-1637-1657. Reichstaler 1653, Wien. Hübsche Patina, sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Austria, Ferdinand III, 1637-57, thaler of 1653, Vienna mint. Handsome patina, very fine to extremely fine.)"

This thaler, which is fairly common, is listed in the SCWC for 1652-55.
