This specimen was lot 32395 in Heritage sale 3073 (Chicago, April 2019), where it sold for $720. The catalog description[1] noted, "Ferdinand III Taler 1651-(c) MS61 NGC, Vienna mint. Lustrous metallic-gray toning with slight iridescent hues along the peripheries, excellent metal and a lovely, full strike. A particularly fine example." This type was minted one year only and is scarce.
