This specimen was lot 3046 in Künker Auction 426 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €370 (about US$524 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Erzherzog Ferdinand, 1564-1595. Guldentaler (60 Kreuzer) 1574, Hall. Winz. Kratzer, sehr schön +. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Ferdinand, 1564-95, guldenthaler or sixty kreuzer of 1574, Hall mint. Hairlines, very fine or better.)"

During this decade, the gulden diverged from the thaler, remaining at sixty kreuzer while the thaler rose to 72 kreuzer. The Hapsburgs minted guldenthalers at Hall (shown here), Vienna, Kuttenberg, Joachimsthal, Prague and elsewhere. The very similar Dav-56 has a ribbon fluttering from the archduke's elbow.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
