This specimen was lot 126 in Künker Auction 423 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,800 (about US$2,549 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"HABSBURGISCHE ERBLANDE-ÖSTERREICH · RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Erzherzog Ferdinand Karl, 1632-1662. Doppelter Reichstaler o. J. (1654), Hall. Geharnischtes Brustbild r. mit umgelegtem Mantel und der Kette des Ordens vom Goldenen Vlies, umher Blätterkranz//Gekrönter Tiroler Adler, oben Ehrenkranz mit fliegenden Bändern, umher Blätterkranz. Fast vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Giessener Münzhandlung 91, München 1998, Nr. 2955. (Holy Roman Empire, archduke Ferdinand Charles, 1632-62, undated double thaler, Hall mint. Obverse: armored and mantled bust right with order chain in a leafy wreath; reverse: crowned Tyrolean eagle, wreath above with fluttering ribbons. About extremely fine.)"
Other double thalers for 1654 include KM 967/Dav-3193, KM 985/Dav-3364 and KM 986/Dav-3364A. Of this group, this is the most common but it is not cheap.
