This specimen was lot 2340 in Sincona sale 11 (Zürich, May 2013), where it sold for 1,200 CHF (about US$1,486 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RDR/ÖSTERREICH Erzherzog Ferdinand Karl, 1632-1662. Doppeltaler o. J. (1654), Hall. Vorzüglich. (Austria, archduke Ferdinand Charles, 1632-62, double thaler without date, Hall mint. Extremely fine.)"
This is one of the few double thalers of this prince, who never attained the imperial crown. It is rare.
